If there ever comes a day when we can't be together,
keep me in your heart,
I'll stay there forever.
                               ~~ Winnie The Pooh

This page is dedicated to all the fur-babies everywhere who are now over the rainbow bridge, and especially to the memories of our own wonderful Aussie companions who had to leave us far too early. We would have been happy to spend our entire lives with all of them. Sleep in peace my friends, we miss you but continue to see you in the wonderful Aussies sharing our lives now...you taught them well and you come to mind constantly when one of them performs one of your antics...so even as the years pass by you still make us smile!

Our friends never truly leave us
Their memories live on in our hearts,
forever

"Mollywogs"

February 3, 1998 - November 23, 2009

Miss Molly, you were a wonderful girl, always ready to make us all laugh with your antics.

You loved to work livestock but far preferred putting on a show for anyone who was watching and might clap or cheer.

And never once did you ever fail to make me laugh when I was sad, your heart just seemed to know what was

going on in my head.

Rest easy sweet Mollywogs, I miss your spinny little body greeting me every time we met.

"Dani the Doodlebug"

February 26, 1997 ~ September 15, 2009

We could always count on "the old girl" to be there when visitors arrived, if we needed a hand keeping sheep away from the feed barn,
and we always knew she'd be waiting patiently when supper arrived!

Dani walked me to my van every morning and sat watching while I left for work and she was always waiting when i got home,
almost as if she thought I needed her to guide me to the house.  Even as age dimmed her beautiful eyes, she always
knew I was coming and was waiting.

The "I love you Doodle, have a good day" and a pat on the head as I left for work the last time I saw her, seems too little.

Our wonderful Dually went to sleep in my arms and is placed in our "special spot" looking the valley.
Dually was a great dog, the first one I ever trialed and he had me hooked from the start!
Rest easy sweet boy, your memory will always live on in the "kids" and "grandkids" you've left with us who will try and follow your wonderful footsteps.

March 29/02 - August 2/02

My sweet darling Angel passed away after weeks of fighting complications associated with Parvovirus that he contacted just before he got his second set of puppy shots.
Please be careful with your babies, one set of shots does not give them the immunity to disease that they need to thrive!

Four weeks old...playing in the spring sunshine!

I know your life, on earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You weren't afraid to face the devil
You were no stranger to the rain

Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin'
Love for the Father and Son

Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve
I wish I could see the angels faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing.

You may be gone but never will you be forgotten...
rest in peace old friend.

Oh the lonely sound of my voice callin',
is driving me insane;
Just like rain the tears keep fallin',
'cause nobody answers when I call your name.

Sleep well my lovely, we miss you every day.

Miss Me But Let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no tears or gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little - but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember all the love we shared,
Miss me - but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone
It is all part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
See family and friends and know,
Take time to heal, tho' we must part
Miss me - but let me go.

...Carry You

When I brought you home, I carried you.
I held you close and made a promise that day.
As I breathed in that sweet, soft, clean smell,
I promised to carry you, and keep you safe and well.
I laughed and spoke so quietly to you.
I taught you your name. You showed me your heart.
And I showed you mine, as I carried you, that day.

When I take you home, I'll carry you.
I'll hold you close, as I promised that day.
I'll breathe in that old familiar smell,
and keep my promise to keep you safe and well.
I'll cry as I speak so quietly to you.
I'll say your name. You'll show me your heart.
And I will lose mine, when I carry you, that day.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

The Last Battle

If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this -- the last battle -- can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
But don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me till the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close -- we two -- these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

Thank you Deborah & Snoopy, this award is very special because it is so much like the spot where our Sheesa and Joey rest, forever happy at one of their favorite places, under a very special tree beside Eagle Lake in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta.
